So, you want to throw a great bachelor party. But, you want to keep it clean. It's not Stagdude's style, but I'll throw some ideas at you anyhow.
Conservative Bachelor Party Ideas
- Throw the bachelor a party at someone's house or apartment. Get some beer. You will need other party supplies. Have the other guys come over for a card game.
- Hooters restaurants offer tasteful eyecandy for guys who want a little female spice to the party without seeing them naked.
- Take your pal on a helicopter tour of the city.
- Is there any specific tourist trap in the city he has always wanted to go to but hasn't ever made it?
- Book a limousine. Take the boys out for a classy dinner at a decent stakehouse.
- Take a trip upstate. Rent a cabin. Do some fishing. What kind of things is the groom into? Try Lake George. How about a deep sea fishing trip?
- Arrange a foresome for a golf outing. Adventurous golfers could take a weekend trip to Myrtle Beach.
- Ever think about visiting Niagara Falls? Here is a good excuse. It's an 8 hour drive from Manhattan. Flights to Buffalo on JetBlue are super cheap. There are golf courses, casinos & many great affordable restaurants. Niagara Falls Ontario is much nicer than the American side. Bring your passport or just a copy of your birth certificate for crossing the border into Canada.
- Yankees fans and Mets fans can organize a trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY.
- Jets & Giants fans could take a weekend trip to the Football hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
- Road trip down to the Carolinas and learn how to hang glide without breaking your neck. How about skydiving?
- Plan a whitewater rafting trip to West Virginia. If you've never done it, it is a total blast.
- If the groom is a wine connoisseur, you could fly him out to Napa or Sonoma California for some world class wine tasting. The Finger Lakes region in New York State offers some exception white wine varieties. Its only a few hours by car.
- Have you ever tested your shooting skills at clay pigeons?
- There are a number of boat charter companies that allow private parties onboard. Some even have bachelor party packages.
